Using Shopify with Buffer

With the Shopify integration for your Buffer analytics dashboard, you now have your Shopify and social media data in a single tool. Connecting and refreshing your Shopify channel
- Currently, only one Shopify account can be connected to each Buffer account.
- If you have been added as staff to a Shopify store, you'll need to have the following permissions to connect the store to Buffer:
- Store Permissions: Customers, Products, Orders, and App Permissions (screenshot).
- App Permissions: Manage and install apps and channels (screenshot).
- First, let's ensure Buffer knows exactly which social channel you'd like to connect. To do this, open shopify.com and log into your account.
- In another tab, head to https://account.buffer.com/channels or follow these steps: Open Buffer, click on your profile avatar at the top right of your dashboard, and click Account > Channels.
- Select Shopify from the list of channels.
- Next, you'll be prompted to install Buffer in Shopify. Click Install on the next two screens and you'll be good to go!

Scheduling Shopify posts
Buffer’s publishing features are not available for Shopify.
Engaging with Shopify posts
Buffer’s engagement features are only available for Facebook and Instagram. Shopify is not supported within Buffer's engagement features at this time.
Shopify analytics
If you’re on the Essentials, Team, or Agency plans, you’ll find all of your stats within the analytics tab.
