How to switch the desktop version of Buffer to light/dark mode

Looking to switch the Buffer mobile app to light or dark mode?

Buffer now lets you personalize your workspace with theme options! Whether you prefer a darker look, a brighter layout, or want Buffer to match your system settings, you can easily switch between dark, light, and system modes. Follow these steps to update your theme.

  1. Click your profile avatar in the bottom left of your dashboard
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click Preferences.
  4. Under "Appearance" choose Dark, Light, or System (which follows your device's theme settings).  Your dashboard will update automatically based on your selection—no need to save or refresh!
