Getting started with Buffer's Community feature
Replying to social media comments can seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be! Buffer’s engagement features allow you to engage with your followers quickly and easily across Facebook Pages, Threads, Bluesky, LinkedIn profiles and pages, X/Twitter, Instagram professional accounts, Google Business Profiles, TikTok, YouTube, and Mastodon.
To manage comments from a computer:
- Click the Community tab at the top of the dashboard.
- Choose a social channel.
- Find a post with unanswered comments.
- Click on a post to select it.
- Enter a reply in the comment field or choose a suggested reply.
- Click Send or hit enter on your keyboard.
Congratulations, you've replied to your first comment in Community!! 🎉
To manage comments from Buffer's mobile app:
- Tap the menu (three horizontal lines) in the upper left corner
- Tap Community
- Tap on a comment
- Type a reply or tap a suggested comment
- Tap the blue Send (paper airplane icon) button and you’re done!
