Why isn't my data updating?

There are a couple of reasons your data may not seem to be updating in Buffer Analyze.

  1. Is your social account disconnected? The most common reason that data might not be populating is because the social account has become disconnected. Please follow the steps in this article to get your social account reconnected.
  2. Data is not collected in real time, rather it is collected in batches from each social network's API each day. In some cases, it can take up to 24 hours for new post data to be populated.
  3. Historical data for Instagram Stories is not available. Whilst we're able to backfill up to six months of Instagram post metrics when you first subscribe to Analyze, unfortunately, we’re not able to backfill Instagram Stories. We are only able to start collecting that data from when your Instagram account is connected to Analyze.
