# Using IFTTT with multiple Buffer channels

After connecting [IFTTT](https://ifttt.com/) to your Buffer account, you can create as many Applets as you like, each sending posts to a different one of your connected channels. You're not limited to a single channel per IFTTT account.

## How it works

When you set up an Applet using Buffer's **Add a post to the queue** action, you'll choose the destination channel as part of that Applet's settings, alongside your post text and image. Because the channel lives on the Applet itself rather than on your IFTTT account, you can build a separate Applet for each channel you want to post to, all from one IFTTT account.

For example, if you manage five Facebook Pages in Buffer, you can create five Applets, each pointed at a different Page, without setting up additional IFTTT accounts.

**Note:** If you’re only seeing posts land in one channel, double-check the channel selected in each Applet's action fields. Since each Applet has its own channel setting, a copied or duplicated Applet won't automatically pick up a new one.

## FAQ

### Do I need a separate IFTTT account for each Buffer channel?

No. Each Applet has its own channel setting, so one IFTTT account can run Applets for multiple Buffer channels at once.

### Can I use IFTTT to post to multiple channels at the same time from a single Applet?

Not from a single Applet. Each Applet sends to one channel, so you'll need a separate Applet per channel.
