## Scheduling Posts

1. Tap ***Publish*** at the bottom of the app.
2. Tap the **+ button** in the button right corner of your screen. This will open up the composer.
3. The social channel you were viewing before opening the composer will already be selected. If you'd like to share to multiple channels, tap the + icon at the top of the composer and then tap any channels you'd like to include.

4. To finish your post, compose the caption, add your media attachments, add [alt text](https://support.buffer.com/en-us/articles/adding-alt-text-to-your-images-on-the-buffer-mobile-app-7FQhwo8Oaw) to certain images, or [add a tag](https://support.buffer.com/en-us/articles/creating-and-managing-tags-on-the-buffer-mobile-app-OWBWJyrdnn).

5. Tap ➡️ (***Next***) in the top-right corner, then select a scheduling option. Unless you selected ***Now***, your post should now appear in your queue and calendar.
6. Have a draft you'd like to turn into a post? Tap the ***Drafts*** option at the bottom of your screen, then select ***Add to Queue.***

## **AI-generated content disclosure on iOS**

At this time, the AI-generated content disclosure is only available on iOS. We hope to support this on the Android app soon!

If you used AI to help create your post, tap the **AI-Generated** toggle below the caption field to flag it, just like on web. See [Flagging posts as AI-generated in Buffer](https://support.buffer.com/article/958-flagging-posts-as-ai-generated-in-buffer) for which networks support this and how the label appears once your post is published.

## **Threaded posts**

Threaded posts are available in Buffer for iOS v15.7 onward and in Beta on the Buffer Android app.

Want to create threaded posts on the go? With Buffer's mobile app, you can build a thread right from your phone instead of switching to web.

1. In the composer, tap ***+ Start a thread*** to add another item to your thread.
2. Keep tapping the same button to add more items.
3. Schedule or publish your thread as normal.

:::info
**Note:** Threading on the mobile app works the same way it does on web (up to 25 items per thread) for X/Twitter, Threads, Mastodon, and Bluesky. See each channel's guide for network-specific details: [Using X/Twitter with Buffer](https://support.buffer.com/article/561-using-twitter-with-buffer), [Using Threads with Buffer](https://support.buffer.com/article/857-using-threads-with-buffer), [Using Mastodon with Buffer](https://support.buffer.com/article/563-using-mastodon-with-buffer), and [Using Bluesky with Buffer](https://support.buffer.com/article/855-using-bluesky-with-buffer).
