# How to switch the Buffer mobile app to light/dark mode

In order to switch the display of your Buffer mobile app, you'll need to adjust the display settings within your phone's settings.

Here's how to do this:

## iOS

1. On your phone, open the ***Settings*** app.
2. Select ***Display & Brightness.***
3. Under "Appearance" select the mode you prefer to use (***Light*** or ***Dark***). This should change everything to light or dark, including the Buffer app.

## Android

1. On your phone, open the ***Settings*** app.
2. Tap ***Display***.
3. Turn ***Dark theme*** on or off. This should change everything to light mode or dark mode, including the Buffer app.
